Cutting of the foundation of the Makara Thorana was started at auspicious time (11.45 am) with the chanting of Seth Pirith by Ven. Dr. Rambukwelle Chandrarathana Thero and the Little Monks.
Casting of Walakulu Bemma on the East Boundary wall along with the access road continued with one mold. Continued making of new 04 molds.

A Meeting held with Mr. Semage to decide Makara Thorana placing & levels. Main entrance to be filled from both sides with earth to match the levels of Walakulu Bemma & Makara Thorana.
